Core and Plugin Upgrade
A Core Update is the WordPress application it self. A note at the top of your admin area will appear that says something like “WordPress 3.3.1 is available! Please update now.” This is a major update and Artbiz tests the core updates with each and everyone of the plugins for compatibility. If a plugin needs to be replaced we will do that and provide you with the details. The annual fee for core updates and all plugins is $47.50 + GST.
Subscribing to our Upgrade Service also buys you annual access to WordPress for Artists Help site. You don’t have to be an artist to use the our Help.
While we will do our best to provide solutions to problems that arise, it is beyond the scope of Artbiz to provide coding repaires to WordPress itself. The team at WordPress.org work diligently to provide any core bug fixes in their upgrades which I monitor and install as required.
All our payments are currently handled by PayPal. You do NOT need a PayPal account to complete a payment however. During the checkout for a purchase, upgrade or renewal transaction, you will be brought to PayPal’s website to complete your payment.
On their website, you will be presented with a PayPal login screen. Feel free to log-in to your PayPal account if you have one as this will usually speed up the process. If you do not have a PayPal account you will need to click the small link that reads something like “Click here to pay by credit card” or “Click here to pay without logging in”. You will then be required to fill out a standard credit card payment page. Once completed, you will be returned to our website for time line information.
