The Da Vinci theme has two page templates. The default page template will show a sidebar on the right and left while the Full Width page template shows only the left sidebar.

Primary Sidebar and Widget Area

The Primary Sidebar on the left will display a secondary menu if you create one and select to show it here. It  will always appear at the top just under the site description.

Widgets can be added below the menu. Of course if no widgets or menus are added the only thing to appear here will be the site description and your content will still appear 222 pixels to the right.

Content Sidebar Widget Area

The “Content Sidebar” appears to the right on pages and posts but only if you add widgets.  If no widgets are in this sidebar it will not appear and your content will expand to fill this area even with the default template.

Footer Widget Areas

The footer widget area will display widgets in line in 4 columns.
